Automatic Tailgate Opening Mechanism

Ideal for use on wheelchair accessible vehicles, where safety is paramount.

The mechanism has an electronic controller with a number of built in safety features.

Door operation is not limited in any way by the electrical system. If for some unknown reason the vehicle is without power, it is always possible to open and close the door manually by operating the handle in the normal manner.

In powered mode, the door is designed to stop immediately if it encounters an obstruction.
The door can only be operated electrically when the vehicle is stationary

Fire Suppression Equipment

Automatic extinguishing systems, Combined automatic fire detection and fire suppression equipment,

Combined automatic fire detection and fire suppression systems are mainly used in engine and electrical compartments. These systems utilise specialised blue trace tubing which can operate in temperatures of up to 110c. E.G. in an engine bay containing a turbocharged engine without risk. If excess heat or fire is detected then the tube will rupture, accurately and rapidly suppressing the flames.

The new systems are fitted with a Schrader valve which is a brand of pneumatic tyre valve used on virtually every motor vehicle in the world today. The cylinders are designed to operate between 4-12 bar and a garage airline is capable of reaching 8 bar which means that if for some unknown reason the pressure drops in the cylinder it is very easy to bring it back up to a working pressure. The gauge itself can be tested by inserting a pin in the designated hole.

For peace of mind these extinguishers contain “Freezol” which allows them to remain functional in subzero temperatures as low as –20c. There are a number of different extinguisher sizes and options available. There are also different types of gauge if required.
